Kalamazoo Washed Out

Kalamazoo, MI (May 3) - The Kalamazoo Speedway was forced to cancel the races this weekend when Mother Nature
attacked the race track at 4pm with showers. Track promoter Gary Howe was forced to make the tough call to either battle
the light showers all evening or to cancel the race program. Pulling the plug on the race program early proved to be the
right call as Kalamazoo was wet all evening long. The call allowed the track crew, fans, and drivers have evening with their
families instead of holding them hostage all evening.

The Kalamazoo Speedway would like to thank all of the Short Track Trucks for coming out in force with many of them
traveling over 3 hours to the track. The sun was shining all afternoon until the weather moved in with cold temps and misty
rain bringing a damper to the drivers, car owners, and race fan.

The Kalamazoo Speedway will be back in action this Saturday night May 10th, with a full NASCAR 3-1 show, with the Late
Models off for the night. The Cyber Stocks, Outlaw Midgets, and the Great Lakes Super Cup Cars join the field with over
100 cars and stars expected. Come out and join the Midwest top announcing team of Jason Seltzer and Andy Jach for all
the crazy action and do not forget to wear your crazy hats as it is Crazy Hat night at the Kalamazoo Speedway. The fans
with the craziest hats win prizes. Also do not forget to stop by Belle Tire or the Plainwell Burger King from 10am-12pm for
the Kalamazoo Speedway M-89 Car Show before you head to the track. You can register to win prizes and tickets for that
nights racing program. The racing program will begin at 7pm sharp!
