Morgan Lucas - Lucas Oil Speedway Top Fuel Dragster
Wheatland, MO (April 29, 2008) - Morgan Lucas' Top Fuel Dragster will be sporting a different look this weekend at
Gateway International Speedway during the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals. You might say Morgan has gone around
the "corner" on this one as the Lucas Oil Speedway, his father's phenomenal dirt track in Wheatland, MO will adorn his top
fuel rocket.
"I know most fans are thinking about going straight this weekend," said Kevin Greven, General Track Manager of the
Lucas Oil Speedway. "But if you have to turn left, you should do it in style, and you should do it on dirt!"
They call the speedway "The Diamond of Dirt Tracks" and industry insiders have labeled it one of the top 5 dirt tracks in
the Nation. With 21 luxury suites, Musco Sports Lighting, BOSE Stadium Sound System, giant HD Jumbo Tron Screen, the
Diamond Bar, and the "Best Weekly Racin' in the Nation," it's easy to see why.
The 2008 event schedule has been called the most aggressive in the Nation and includes 18 nationally televised races for
broadcast on ESPN2, SPEED CHANNEL, the Versus Network and MAV TV. The first of which is the Second Annual
SuperClean Diamond Nationals.
The "Diamond" has quickly risen to become one of the premier dirt late model races in the Nation. Featuring the Lucas Oil
Dirt Late Model Touring Series in a $40,000 to win SPEED CHANNEL Event.
