O'Reilly MLRA Takes On SuperClean Diamond Nationals
Wheatland, MO (May 2, 2008) - With all the National hype and name-dropping surrounding the SuperClean Diamond
Nationals, it's easy to miss some big regional names waiting in ambush.
When the back gates open next week at the Lucas Oil Speedway, some of the biggest names in Late Model racing from
around the country will roll through. From the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models to the top drivers from the World of Outlaw Late
Models and everything in between and that includes the O'Reilly MLRA.
Phillips, Payne, Purkey, Anderson Vaught, Drake, Turner, Vaughn and other top drivers from the MLRA will arrive with one
thing on their minds, leaving Saturday night with the "ring."
Remember last year John Anderson lead most of the Inaugural SuperClean Diamond Nationals and is looking strong as
the 2008 event approaches. Jeremy Payne has already won here this year in the O'Reilly MLRA Season Opener on April
5th.
"Next weekend is the second of five visits for the O'Reilly MLRA this season," said Kevin Greven, General Track Manager.
"On April 5th they kicked off their season here with over 50 Late Models and it was an awesome race."
"I think we're ready for them," said Harriot Chancellor, O'Reilly MLRA Promoter. "Several of our driver's have indicated they
are coming to Wheatland for one reason, to take that $40,000 home."
