Oskaloosa, IA (July 2, 2008)-On Wednesday, July 2, the
Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, was rolled in
and ready to host the 13th Annual MUSCO Lighting Great
American Stock Car Shootout, but Mother Nature intervened
with rain and caused the event to be postponed.

Knoxville, IA (July 2, 2008)-The non-profit National Sprint
Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation is looking for
volunteers for its activities during the upcoming Knoxville
Nationals, August 6-9.

Donnellson, IA (July 1, 2008)-The IMCA Speedway Motors
Weekly Racing program takes flight with the largest weekly
winning prize of the season thus far for all four classes in
attendance at the first annual Pepsi Liberty Cup at the Lee
County Speedway on Thursday, July 3.

Wheatland, MO (July 1, 2008)-The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model
Touring Series returns to the Diamond of Dirt Tracks
Saturday, July 19th for their second and final appearance this
season.

of June 29, 2008.

Wheatland, MO (June 30, 2008)-This past weekend rain
once again tortured the Diamond of Dirt Tracks as we lost
day one of the Dixie Chopper Pro-Pulling Nationals.

Nevada, MO (June 29, 2008)-David Turner started on the
pole and led all 40 laps of the O'Reilly MLRA Late Model
feature Sunday night at Nevada Speedway.

Quincy, IL (June 29, 2008)-Terry Neal made the trip to
Quincy Raceways from Ely, Iowa pay off big time as he
claimed the $3000 winner check in the second largest paying
J&J Steel IMCA Late Model race of the season in the Titan
Tire and Wheel Shootout on Sunday, June 29.

Wheatland, MO (June 29, 2008)-After rain canceled the
Saturday Dixie Chopper Pro-Pulling Nationals event, the sun
came out Sunday for round 2 and it was a "doozie!"

Burlington, IA (June 28, 2008)-Midway through the 2008
racing season fans saw four drivers getting their first wins of
the year at Burlington's 34 Raceway on Fleck Sales, Miller
Lite Night.

Wheatland, MO (June 28, 2008)-After several special events
and one rain out, what's been called the "Best Weekly Racin'
in the Nation" returns to action this Saturday night at the
Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
